Please note all inbound passengers no longer require: 
  • A completed passenger locator form;
  • Evidence of having been fully vaccinated;
  • Evidence of recovery from COVID-19; or
  • Evidence of a negative/not-detected result from a RT-PCR/Antigen test.


For customers looking to book a Covid PCR or Antigen test for travel purposes for 'Fit to Fly' Certificate, there is a provider based at Shannon Airport.  RocDoc provide private PCR and Antigen testing required for travel purposes.  Tests can be booked at

Face Coverings

In line with updated Government and European Centre for Disease Prevention advice for travel, face coverings are no longer mandatory in airports in Ireland or on-board aircraft as of Monday 16th May 2022. For more information, please visit
The ECDC still recommend face coverings as one of the best protections against the transmission of Covid-19. While passengers are no longer required to wear face coverings, we continue to advise passengers to use face coverings.
