COVID-19 Questions

Please note all inbound passengers no longer require: 
  • A completed passenger locator form;
  • Evidence of having been fully vaccinated;
  • Evidence of recovery from COVID-19; or
  • Evidence of a negative/not-detected result from a RT-PCR/Antigen test.

Testing

For customers looking to book a Covid PCR or Antigen test for travel purposes, most local pharamcies can provide private PCR or Antigen testing required for travel purposes to issue a formal fitness to fly certificate.  

Traveling to the USA

Please not that from Sunday 12th of June 2022 passengers travelling to the US from Shannon will no longer need to take a Covid-19 test ahead of boarding their flight.  However passengers must still prove they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to travel to the USA.


Face Coverings

In line with updated Government and European Centre for Disease Prevention advice for travel, face coverings are no longer mandatory in airports in Ireland or on-board aircraft as of Monday 16th May 2022. For more information, please visit gov.ie.
 
The ECDC still recommend face coverings as one of the best protections against the transmission of Covid-19. While passengers are no longer required to wear face coverings, we continue to advise passengers to use face coverings.
