At Shannon Airport, some airlines provide their own ground handling services like Aer Lingus who provide both passenger and baggage handling services for their passengers. Other airlines contract services from specialist ground handling companies. For example, United Airlines and Ryanair currently use services from Swissport.
Shannon Airport Authority DAC is responsible for providing the infrastructure to help airlines and handling agents to operate efficiently and effectively. All ground handling companies are licensed by the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) which is independent of Shannon Airport Authority DAC.
You’ll find the full contact details for both self handlers and third party ground handling companies at Shannon Airport below:

All ground handlers must obtain a Grant of Approval, prior to commencing operations at Shannon Airport. For more information, click here.
